Help!!!!!!!

From Destiny's teacher....

While this seems very innocent, I just wanted to make you aware of a little crush that I believe Destiny has on a boy in the classroom. I have noticed her hanging around him a little more than often and seemed to be a bit flirtatious. It has been nothing too out of the ordinary until today. While I was reading aloud to the whole class I looked down at her and saw her grab his hand, they were holding hands!!!!  I will let you take it from here as to what you want to say to her. I cannot imagine having this talk with my daughter but I know it has to be done one day when she is old enough!

I thought I had at least a few more years before I had to worry. I am not sure how I am going to navigate these waters (actually forget me, how is Bud going to navigate these waters?) with three girls that look like this. Any suggestions?????

Our Postman Rocks!!

Many jokes are made about the United States Postal Service but I have nothing but the highest praise for them. They managed to deliver this letter to my house. Maddie is learning to write her address and so her teacher had her address an envelope to herself and then filled it with stickers and a sweet note and sent it to our house.

Happy Birthday!

Happy 39th Birthday to my wonderful husband.  I wish that you were here with us today instead of spending the day at work but we can't wait to see you tonight.  We love you.

Love,

Boo, Abs, Mads and Des

Exhausted

that is what I am.  It is only mid week and I have no idea how I am going to make it to Friday. With practice four nights a week (cheerleading three nights and soccer a fourth night) and games on Saturday's plus all of our other commitments I am burning the candle at both ends.  "Where is Bud" you ask?  Well, he commutes an hour to work and an hour home so he leaves before us in the morning and gets home long after we do.  That wouldn't be bad if I was a stay-at-home mom but I'm not.  I work too and so everyday I get up, get all three kids up, dressed, fed and out the door to school.  I pick up all three kids every night at two different places, rush to get them dinner (they know way too many  fast food restaurant menu's) and off to practice.  The weekends haven't been much better lately with commitments to birthday parties, work picnics, games, church and time with friends.  But I am blessed beyond measure.  My kids are healthy and reasonably happy and they get to do things that I never got the chance to experience.  Exhausted I am but I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Abby's new look

Our girl is sporting a new look these days.  After many weeks of headaches., the eye doctor determined that she was nearsighted and needed glasses for reading.  So off to the racks we went and she chose these pinkish red frames to complement those beautiful brown eyes.

She also opted to cut her hair short in a stylish new "do". Victoria Beckham move over because here comes the next great fashion icon. She loves her hair and it looks so adorably cute on her. She is growing up so fast!!!
